WITH the spread of Covid-19 contained due to vaccination and strict implementation of health protocols, business is becoming alive once again after two years.

Thriving once more are spas – which were one of the most affected ventures along with hotels, amusement parks, salons, barber shops and internet cafes –brought by the lockdowns not only in the country but the rest of the world as well. BlueWater Day Spa (BWDS) reopened on January 26 and has since seen the return of its clientele in all its branches – Ortigas, Banawe and Makati.

In compliance with the safety protocols set by the Department of Health (DoH) and Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), BWDS acquired disinfection/sanitation machines for the peace of mind of its clientele.

"Clients can expect fully quality service, promos and the return of event-bookings now that the pandemic is going toward its end stage," BWDS Operations Manager Nancy Go, who co-founded the venture with sister Mary Go Simisim as CEO, said during the Miss World Philippines 2022 Charity Gala Night held at Okada Manila on June 1. Miss World Philippines 2022 candidates visit Blue Water Day Spa-Ortigas and get samples of the services offered.

"We continue to support Miss World Philippines in its activities and advocacies," she added.

Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez is currently BWDS brand ambassador as she turns over the crown to her chosen successor tomorrow at the Miss World Philippines (MWPH) 2022 Coronation Night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Go further revealed that Perez has been one of the easiest, most natural, kindest and most down-to-earth models/ambassadors they have worked with through the years.

On June 2, the MWPH 2022 candidates visited BWDS-Ortigas and sampled the services offered such as Full Body Massage, Swedish Massage, Traditional Balinese Massage, Hand and Foot Massage/Treatment, Body Machine Treatment, Nail Treatment and Waxing. Go also revealed they are planning to open two branches this year at Estancia Mall and in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

Besides Perez, its coterie of brand ambassadors include singer Christian Bautista, model Fabio Ide, San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora, The Manila Times President and COO Blanca Mercado, actor-model David Licauco, Harry Morris, Nico Locco, beauty queens Gazini Ganados and Michelle Dee, and actor-athlete Ervic Vijandre. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and racer Marlon Stockinger also served as BWDS brand ambassadors. Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez currently as Blue Water Day Spa brand ambassador.
