Many of us are frequent users of the stickers function on WhatsApp. But one issue most of us have come to face is the lack of accessibility when it comes to creating our own stickers – the process often requires an external app of some sort to create them before you can import them into your own chats.

If you've ever found this a problem, there's good news!

WhatsApp has just announced a new feature where you can create your own stickers inside the platform itself (although it'll only be available for the Web and Desktop versions for now).

1. Hop on to WhatsApp's Web application (the feature will be available for Desktop soon), and jump into a chat.

2. Click on the attachment button (paper clip sign) in the lower left of the chat, and choose the 'Sticker' option.

3. You'll be prompted to upload a base image to start your sticker with. Once you've uploaded an image, you can customize it with a few neat tools provided in the application itself.

4. Once you're satisfied with your creation, hit the send button and it'll be sent as a sticker to your chat. All done!

Sticker Maker is now available on WhatsApp for Web and will be rolling out in the coming week on Desktop. To use Sticker Maker, download the latest version of WhatsApp for Web or Desktop.
