Deshaun Watson often feared for his privacy when arranging massages, according to some of the lawsuits against him.
When Watson reached out to this Houston licensed massage therapist, he “kept insisting that the massage be ‘private’ and kept asking…if anyone else would be around during the massage,” the suit said.
The massage therapist “thought this was just normal behavior from a so-called celebrity who wanted to keep a low profile.” Some of the other women suing Watson say they thought the same.
In this case, Watson told the woman he wanted his “glute area” and “inner thighs” worked on, “which seemed normal enough to (the woman) as she had worked on other professional athletes in the past,” the suit said.
The woman told Watson she used certain tools for the massage and Watson stressed that he only wanted her to use her hands, the suit said.
When Watson asked her if he could wear a small towel instead of traditional draping of sheets or blankets, she “said that draping was absolutely necessary and that he would need to be covered the entire time,” the suit said.
They scheduled a massage for Jan. 21, 2021. The lawsuit doesn't say where they met, but when the massage started, Watson was lying face down and asked if he “could take the draping off since he gets ‘hot’,” the suit said.
The woman told him they could remove the draping from his arms and legs, but “he would still need to be covered for the most part.”
When she started to massage Watson’s legs, he asked if that was “as high as (she) could go to massage (his) groin,” the suit said.
She told him she would move higher in between his abdomen and thigh when he flipped over.
After Watson flipped onto his back, she started massaging his abdomen, and he again asked if that was as high as she could go into his groin, the suit said.
“At that point, (the woman) took a step back and made it clear to Watson that this massage was strictly professional and as long as nothing sexual was going on, she would continue with the massage,” the suit said.
Watson said “no problem,” but after a few minutes later exposed his penis to the woman, the suit said.
The woman tried to re-cover Watson with the draping and thought “maybe it was an innocent mistake,” but then Watson asked her to rub the front of his hip, then his inner thigh, pelvis and lower abdomen, the suit said.
The woman “grew more and more uncomfortable and started to freak out,” the suit said.
Watson exposed his penis again and the woman again covered him, the suit said.
The third time Watson pulled the draping off, he had an erection and his penis touched the woman’s hand. “Oh that felt good. Can you do that again?” Watson asked the woman, the suit said.
After she declined, “Watson then stared at (the woman) and said coyly, 'I do not want to make you do anything you do not want to do,' ” the suit said.
The woman quickly ended the massage and Watson left.
It’s unclear if Watson ever paid.
Watson has denied all allegations against him and said any sexual contact was consensual.
