Only available to those with a subscription to Amazon Prime, Prime Day is a two-day sales event during which Amazon offers huge discounts on the majority of its stock. It’s a great time to treat yourself to big-ticket items like a new phone, vacuum, coffee machine or anything you’ve been coveting for a while but haven’t wanted to splurge on yet.
If you’re not subscribed and don’t plan to, don’t worry. You can still get in on the action by signing up for a free 30 day Amazon Prime trial closer to the time. Just remember to cancel it before the 30 days are up to avoid getting charged.
It’s been confirmed that Prime Day will take place on Tuesday June 12 and Wednesday June 13. The event will kick off at midnight and last a full 48 hours.
The two-day event takes place once a year. For its initial few years, the sale took place in July but 2020 and 2021 saw a slight change in schedule. Last year, Prime Day was held in June and the year before it was October.
To snag a good deal, you have to be prepared. If there’s something that you have your eye on, bookmark the page now so that on Prime Day you can quickly add the product to your basket and check out before it sells out. And believe us, things will sell out in no time at all.
Amazon’s Lightning Deals are particularly exciting. The retailer offers major discounts on products for a few hours at a time. While Amazon has Lightning Deals throughout the year, during Prime Day there are many more items on sale at jaw-dropping discounts.
